circa 1880, with round nickel-plated 2 1/2in. barrel, the left hand side marked 'PATD JULY 24. 1877', crescent fore-sight, sighting notch to the rear of top-strap, the strap signed 'FOREHAND & WADSWORTH DOUBLE ACTION No.32 WORCESTER. MASS', fluted and plated cylinder, plated frame with load cut-out on right hand side, colour hardened hammer, plated trigger and chequered gutta-percha grips embossed with the recumbent crescent Forehand & Wadsworth trademark, some loss to plating
